available to help and prevent rudimentary mistakes. The paid version (the US $
29.95 per month) can check punctuation, grammar, context, and sentence
structure, suggest vocabulary, support genre-specific writing styles, and even
detect plagiarism.
‘’Grammarly’’
is the best online service, but there's also a native desktop application for
Windows called “Grammarly for Windows”. The usage is almost the same as the
online version. Just create a new document from the [My Grammarly] tab (you can
also import an existing document) and enter the English text.
Then,
a red line is drawn at the point where there is a problem. Move the mouse
cursor to the red line to check the contents of the pop-up, and click on it to
follow the improvement plan. The text will be corrected automatically. If so,
just press the [DISMISS] command and ignore the improvement. If proper nouns
get caught in spell checking, register them in your dictionary.
